A Journey of Hope

“Hope is a good thing. Maybe the best thing. And no good thing ever dies.”

A Journey of Hope

Hope Energy & Wellness was named for my brother Declan Hope. He was a soldier, priest and poet.

He was born as David Lalonde, but as he grew into his journey, he took on his spiritual name — Declan Thomas Hope — meaning “Man of prayer for hope.” That name reflected his Earthly mission — to teach us to live by hope instead of fear — to raise our vibrations to connect with the universal energy. His motto was “Dum Spiro Spero,” or “While I breathe, I hope.”

Declan completed his journey when he passed from cancer in April 2020. His life followed the prophet’s destiny — to live modestly, then leave early by sacrificing themselves and leaving us with their teachings.

His energy and wisdom guides our healing work by urging people to let hope into their hearts where there once was fear.
