About Paul

In Stillness, it’s just your consciousness and the universe. That’s when you’re home.

Introducing Paul
I’m Paul Lalonde. I’m the energy practitioner at Hope Energy & Wellness. I am a Reiki Master, and I completed the 200-hour Energy Healing Training (EHT) program from Field Dynamics Healing in New Mexico, USA.
I’m a meditator who dedicates time each day to connecting with the energy of mind, body and universe.
Hope Energy & Wellness is the next stage in my journey of learning to let go – of loving and accepting myself while offering support in service of others. I launched this practice after 25+ years as a communications, marketing and public policy writer.
I’m a genealogist with a passion for family history stories. I’ve also studied as an End of Life Doula. Combining these two interests, I’ve found my purpose in writing legacy stories. Each person’s life is a valuable story of learning and love – I help that story come to life in meaning, energy and love.

My 3-D Life
“3-D life” is what spiritual people call the physical realm we experience everyday here on Earth. I believe we’re all in this Earthly life for a purpose and true meaning comes from embracing that purpose and becoming the hero of your own story.
In my 3-D life, I’m a husband, father, son and dog lover. My dog Lightning was a competitive sports dog, and together we are happiest playing toss-and-fetch with frisbees and balls.
I’ve worked a lot in the investment and technology sectors. I’ve completed various levels of formal education — from community college to graduate school — but training as an energy healer is the most transformative work I’ve undertaken thus far.
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
— Mark Twain

I am here.
Sometimes when I drop into meditation, I sign-in to the universe with the salutation, “I am here.”
“I am here” applies to many situations. In fact, it’s often the best way to help someone — simply by just being there.
It’s what humans do best. We just be. That’s why we say ‘human being’ instead of ‘human doing.’
I am human.
I also say “I’m human,” because it’s the best descriptor of the love and fears we carry with us.
We believe we’re humans with souls. The truth is we are souls. We just have human bodies for our Earthly missions.
So here I am. I am here. A human with all the struggles, feelings and fears that everyone carries with them.
